The Story of Burnt Ends

If you’ve ever had a burnt end, you already know why we named ourselves after it. That caramelized, smoky, bite-sized chunk of brisket bliss? That’s the good stuff. The stuff you wait hours for, only to burn your fingers because you can’t let it cool before sneaking a piece. The kind of bite that makes you nod to yourself and say, yep, worth it.
That’s what we wanted Burnt Ends to be: not just food, but worth it.
How We Got Here
We didn’t open our doors chasing Instagram trends or trying to reinvent barbecue. We just wanted to do what we love—slow-smoking meats the old-fashioned way—and give Auburn a place where good food meets good times.
And it worked. Somewhere between dollar wing Wednesdays, Tall-for-Small beer nights, trivia competitions, and our catering and mobile bar adventures, we became more than a spot to grab ribs. We became a hangout, a gathering place, and honestly, a little piece of home for a lot of people.
Why Community Matters to Us
Barbecue is nothing without people to share it with. That’s why we’ve jumped in on local fundraisers, fed first responders and essential workers, and hosted events that bring our neighbors together. We don’t just fire up the smoker for ourselves—we fire it up for Auburn.
Whether it’s a family night out, a charity event, or a backyard wedding that turns into a dance-’til-midnight party with our mobile bar, we’re here for it. That’s what fills us up (besides brisket, of course).
What We Stand For
Around here, it’s pretty simple:
Real food. Cooked low and slow, with plenty of napkins.
Real people. We treat everyone like family—without making you do the dishes.
Real community. Because barbecue isn’t meant to be eaten alone.
Come Hang With Us
At Burnt Ends, you don’t just walk out with a full belly—you leave with a smile, maybe a new friend, and probably some sauce on your shirt. We’re proud to serve Auburn, proud to be part of this community, and proud to stand for more than just great barbecue.
So next time you’re hungry, come on by.
We’ll save you a seat (and maybe even the best burnt ends).
